Ausborne Blog

Well, we got to Sonora at about 12:15 am on Monday. Josh and I flew into San Francisco at about 3 pm. After picking up our oh-so-impressive Ford Taurus, we headed out on our journey.

Here is a listing of what we did:

1. Stopped and took some photos of the Upper Crystal Springs Reservoir.
2. Stopped at my grandmother’s house to check on her. She’s doing well, in case you were wondering.
3. Went and got sandwiches at Togo’s Eatery, the sandwich shop of the gods.
4. Went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and got photos.
5. Rolled up my pant legs and walked in the water. It was cold.
6. Took some photos of a drunk homeless woman trying to button up the shirt of an ridiculously intoxicated homeless man.
7. Took photos of people riding the wooden roller coaster.
8. Left Santa Cruz and drove to Dublin for dinner. Matsu Sushi has good food.
9. Left Dublin and drove to Sonora.

All told, we drove about 270 miles. It was a lot of travel, but it’s not like I haven’t done more than this in a day before.
