My friend/coworker suffered the loss of his few-weeks-old daughter today. She wasn’t super healthy, but I think this was still surprising to them. It’s got me wondering about what I can do for them.

My friend/coworker suffered the loss of his few-weeks-old daughter today. She wasn’t super healthy, but I think this was still surprising to them. It’s got me wondering about what I can do for them.
Josh, when I was growing up, the family pitched in to help do things for them like cook or take care of their children for them . Maybe in your case , help your friend with his job. Sometime it’s just to let them know that you’re there for them when needed.
That is a tough call.
On one hand, you want to offer all the support you can. But on the other hand, you don’t want to intrude too far into their personal lives. Or at least, that’s what would be going through my mind.
I’m sure you’ll do fine. :^)
