I just made my first ever political donation.  I donated $10 to help elect William Russell, who I had never heard of until this evening.  When Glenn Reynolds made the suggestion of helping the opponent of John Murtha (D-Pennsylvania) in their battle for over Murtha’s congressional seat.  I just plain don’t like Murtha and thought, “Hey, why not make a political donation to help him get unelected?”
